Introducing carbon neutral holidays with Bear Mountaineering

Now you can ski with us knowing that your trip is carbon neutral. Here’s how it works: We buy enough carbon credits to offset your flight to Smithers, your flight to the lodge, and a bit more to offset all of the helicopter fuel we used in building the lodge. Those emission rights are then retired, meaning the carbon will not be emitted and the climate less degraded. You enjoy yourself with a clear conscience. This option is available free of charge if you book your trip before October 1, 2007.
Bear Mountaineering is also joining 1% for the Planet, an organization that recognizes the true cost of doing business.
